ANSWER

What speaks most about a guild's quality is its member's ability to work effectively as a team. If people are just in it for themselves then it will most certainly fail. People must have the desire to achieve the same goals and learn to understand and work together. I always come fully prepared and on time. I don't like just eeking by. Even if I don't top the meters, I'm always breaking my fingers trying to without being reckless to the raid. I enjoy the raiding environment and hope to prove to be an asset.

ANSWER

I go way back with a few members of Soul, including Unrelentium whom I spoke with about Soul. No, I have not applied with any other guilds. I've actually been taking my time and researching guilds on KM.

ANSWER

Since Lich King came out I've been a member of Paradigm. I left due to personal reasons which are no longer an issue. I left them on good terms and I could probably rejoin them but I don't wish to because they only focus on 10man content. I want to raid 25man content. I enjoy larger raids. It's a lot more exciting to experience.

Achievements
Explain to us your view on achievements, both raiding and extracurricular (non-raid). Tell us about some of the achievements and accomplishments you have that you feel are exemplary or worthy of mention. Do you understand that Soul is a Hard-Mode aspiring guild? What is your view on Hard Modes in general?

ANSWER

Some of the random achievements are just silly, but the majority of the achievements are worth the trouble imo. Raiding achievements give me a sense of accomplishment. Hard-modes, to me, are the ultimate sense of accomplishment because in order to achieve them, your raid team must endure many hours, sometimes weeks of practice. It proves you have the patience and determination to see things through. I have the achievements for completing Ulduar 10m, along with some hardmodes. It may sound silly, but I like having Loremaster because it shows that I'm willing to put in the time.

ANSWER

Raid times are 5pm - 9pm Mon-thurs my time. I'll be online early and available every night. I work early in the morning and usually get home before 3pm

Preparation
Please list what you would do to prepare for the raid. List consumables as well.

ANSWER

I research new bosses by looking at vids on tankspot or youtube. I read various strategies on various sites. I always bring plenty of blackened dragonfin and Flasks of Endless Rage. Health pots, Repair Bots etc. Poisons...always.

Output
As far as your class allows it, please explain to us your typical ability rotation during a cut and dry encounter with little movement involved. Explain to us what keys you use to cast spells, or what add-ons you use for assistance. What do you use to move (Mouse/Keyboard).

ANSWER

Always tricks the tank, killing spree for a good dps starter boost while tricks is active. Open up with Adrenaline rush and blade flurry, sinister strike to 5cp, slice n dice, SS to 5cp, rupture, Killing spree and blade flurry always when they're not on CD. Adrenaline rush whenever it's up unless I need to save it for soft-enrages etc. I use the mouse to move and I have all my main abilities mapped to my Numpad.

Statistics
Please provide some sort of metering measure to show us your ability. This can be any measure of information including WWS, DeJaWoW, WowMeterOnline, World of Logs, Recount (Screenshots only). A measurement of some kind is absolutely mandatory.

Consistency
Do you understand that you are expected to raid even when you get tired of the content? You will not be allowed to step social and then back again simply because of waiting on new content to be released.

Hypothetical Question: Why are other people beating you in performance?

ANSWER

The only time another rogue beats me on the meters is if they severely out-gear me or if I'm dead (which isn't often) I'm not careless. If by chance they still beat me, then I do everything I can to find new ways of eeking out as much dmg as I can where I may not have been doing before.

Hypothetical Question: Is this acceptable?

ANSWER

In my opinion it's never personally acceptable to be low on the meters. I always strive to come in Number 1. It may not always happen but I certainly bust my butt trying.

Hypothetical Question: What can be done so that they are not?

ANSWER

If it's gear, then..upgrades. If I'm dying then don't make stupid mistakes. If it's an encounter experience issue, then learn everything I can about my role in the fight to maximize my dps.
